This was my first massage with Devon and the pains I had when I first arrived have completely disappeared. Very deep and painful massage but worth it for the good that it did. No trouble recommending it to anyone who has had one of those standard salon massages that really do leave a lot to be desired.

After leaving you yesterday, I thought I’d better tell you that seeing you for a treatment was one of the best things I’ve done for a long time. I have been pretty stressed lately and your treatment helped me to relax and feel better physically and emotionally. I met Devon Burke through the Wellbeing Network and have been seeing him for his Bio-tuning treatment [regularly]. The treatment is an interesting series of passive movements, guided visualisation and energy work and is a challenging exercise in letting go on every level. It has made me aware of areas of resistance in my life and brought me to an even greater awareness of the mind/body/spirit connection. Devon is a very intuitive therapist who creates a warm and nurturing ambience which made me feel safe enough to let go and allow myself to be in quite a vulnerable space. The whole experience was a real sensory delight – using music, incense, crystals, mental imagery and gently bodywork – Devon facilitates clear communication between the body, mind and spirit – bringing you a little closer to “harmony” with each session.
Devon was recommended to me when I mentioned some time ago, that I could do with a massage to help me unwind, relax and just lie still for a while, amidst the whirlwind of business, life, family and friends. I had a home visit as I knew I wanted to be able to not have to move around much afterwards(knowing what massages can do!). I found him to be considerate, caring, thoughtful and a good listener! I was left feeling totally relaxed, so I went back for more! I experienced his bio-tuning therapy, which left me feeling like my body and conscious mind was able to totally relax and sleep, allowing my subconscious mind to take over, leaving me feeling centred and grounded. I’ve had many massages in my time and I must say that Devon is one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever come across. Many massages I find to be very therapeutic and relaxing, but where I do a lot of exercise I really like to get someone with strong hands who can really give a deep tissue massage and release any knots. Devon monitors the pressure from 1–10 and so delivers the right amount of pressure for the individual and so how deep he goes is up to you. If you want a massage that really works deep into the tissue then Devon is the therapist for you.
